South African accounting, reimagined

Do your own accounting.

SSA gives South African business owners the intelligence of a full accounting team — pre-filled invoices, auto-categorised banking, intelligent suggestions, and proactive workflows that lead you through your books step by step. You bring in the accountant when you've done what you can.

Founding members lock R99/co/mo for 12 months No artificial limits on invoices or users Cancel anytime

What makes SSA different

Six product principles we're building everything around. Not marketing — these literally drive the data model and the UX decisions in our docs.

1

The intelligence of a full accounting team

SSA pre-fills what it can, suggests what it can't, and flags what looks wrong. Bank import auto-categorises. Customer invoices remember the last accounts. VAT codes apply themselves. You stay in control — the system does the thinking.

2

Workflow-driven, not feature-driven

Instead of a flat menu of features, SSA leads you through the natural sequence. Finished an invoice? It asks: 'Process another, see today's invoices, or check debtors age analysis?' You flow through your work, not click around looking for it.

3

Drill-down on every number

Every figure in the Trial Balance, General Ledger, debtors list and report is clickable. Click any amount to see what it's made of — and click again to keep going, all the way to the source journal and supporting document.

4

Multi-dimensional reporting in the core

Tag transactions with user-defined dimensions — Brand, Region, Project, Sales Rep — that reconcile back to your Trial Balance. Plus a drag-and-drop report builder so you can slice your own data however you need.

5

Project the future, not just the past

Built-in forecasting lets you project cash flow and P&L forward with parameters you set yourself. Run scenarios — what if revenue grows 15%? — and dream up real business plans grounded in your real numbers.

6

Your books, isolated and yours

Every business runs in its own separate database. Easy per-business backups, simple data exports, strong isolation — your books never share a table with anyone else's.

7

Built for South Africa

VAT 15% (or any rate you define), EMP201, UIF, SARS tax tables, CIPC company setup, FNB / Capitec / TymeBank statement imports, February year-end default. Designed for SA from day one, not retrofitted.

8

Per-company pricing, modular and fair

From R149/month for one company. Volume discounts from your second onwards. Add only the modules you actually use. No artificial limits on transactions, invoices, or users — ever.

Founding-member offer — beta only

Be among the first

We're looking for a small cohort of design partners — South African business owners, accountants, and bookkeepers — to shape SSA before launch. No payment until the product can run your books.

Sign up now and lock in R99 per company per month for at least 12 months.

That's our founding-member rate — a third less than the standard R149/co launch price. Help us test, give feedback, keep the price.

Form is a placeholder until the signup endpoint is live (Phase 1, Week 3–4).

Help us build the right thing

We're building SSA in the open. Tell us what you want to see, vote on what matters most, and watch the roadmap shift in response. Public, transparent, and shipping fortnightly.

Public voting opens in Phase 3 (Week 22). Sign up for early access to be notified the moment it goes live.
